Abstract

Problems related to the storage of shoes include discomfort in putting shoes and shoes are still dusty. Shape shelves are generally open. Shoe rack products need to be developed using integration of axiomatic design method with house of quality or called axiomatic house of quality (AHOQ). AHOQ is a modification of HOQ that aims to reduce errors arising from the translation of user statements that are not appropriate in the needs of the product. With the customer requirements are clear, then can determine the functional requirements and design parameters are more appropriate. This research produces dimension specification of shoe rack according to anthropometry data of Indonesia and for material used. Shoe rack is also designed to have a door made of acrylic tansparan, so in addition to protect shoes from dust, facilitate in finding and finding shoes to be used. Testing using ANSYS software, obtained the ability to receive maximum pressure and product safety factors.

Abstract

Produk hasil pengolahan ikan, terutama ikan asap di Indonesia terus meningkat dari tahun ke tahun. Peningkatan jumlah produksi ikan asap ini harus diimbangi dengan peningkatan kualitasnya agar dapat bersaing di pasar bebas ASEAN (MEA). Selama ini produk ikan asap dalam negeri kurang begitu diminati oleh konsumen serta identic dengan tingkat higienitas dan aspek sanitasi yang kurang baik. Untuk itulah perlu dilakukan identifikasi terhadap kebutuhan konsumen ikan asap untuk dapat meningkatkan kualitasnya. salah satu caranya adalah dengan menggunakan metode QFD (Quality Function Deployment) yang selama ini telah sering digunakan. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, didapatkan hasil bahwa  variable yang paling fiinginkan dan dibutuhkan konsumen adalah kebersihan dan keamanan untuk dikonsumsi. Sedangkan untuk karakteristik teknis pada ikan asap yang perlu untuk dikembangkan lebih lanjut adalah sistem pengemasannya.

Abstract

Sarong goyor becomes one of the excellent product of Sukoharjo city. Most of the production centers of small medium enterprise (SME) sarongs have been exported overseas, especially to African countries and the Middle East. The business of making this sarong is a hereditary business that is still maintained until now, which in the production process is still done manually using non-machine loom (ATBM). This study aims to determine the relative efficiency of SMEs gloves by using the integration of fuzzy concepts and Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). The input variables considered include raw material costs (CMTR), direct labor costs (CDHR), and other costs (FCST). The output variables analyzed consist of sales (REVN) and profit (PRFT). The results show that there are four SMEs as an inefficient Decision Making Unit (DMU), in one DMU operating on decreasing return to scale (DRS) and three DMUs operating on increasing return to scale (IRS).

Abstract

The cement distributor has a cement warehouse in Pasuruan. Cement warehouse always ready to be shipped to a regular customer. Current demand from customers remains unfulfilled because the number of corporate modes of transportation is not proportional to the number of cement demand. Thus, the company plans to add the truck with two alternatives of buying new trucks or renting Hino Ranger FG 235 JJ. To determine the best alternative, an assessment of the criteria for the addition of trucks is required. In this study AHP is used to determine the level of importance among the criteria, assess the criteria of discounts, shipping security, corporate attributes listed in vehicles, cost, age, administration, maintenance, risk of damage, availability. The result of the criteria weighting is used as the input for the selection of the best alternative in the TOPSIS method. The results obtained from the calculation of TOPSIS for alternative purchase of a new truck and renting that have value of 0.599 and 0.401.

Abstract

One of the noodle sohun industry is located in Daleman Village, Klaten District. The process of making is done manually and using a simple tool, through 4 workstations, namely: palm sugar mill work station, palm juice cooking station, cooking station, and printing station. The purpose of the research is to find out the complaints of workers using Nordic Body Map (NBM) , the risk of work posture using the Manual Task Risk Assessment (ManTRA) method, and provide a safe solution to implement. The results of the NBM questionnaire showed that the categories with the very right shoulder pain were 36.4% and the left wrist was 36.4%. The results of the ManTRA method are: the printing work station has the highest musculoskeletal risk, while the lowest risk is on the arsenic squeeze work station.

Abstract

This article attempts to explore and review methods and approaches in the Supplier selection process. Review of articles related to the approach in supplier selection that includes identification, evaluation and contract activities with suppliers is reviewed based on the quantitative and qualitative models conducted in this article. In this article, a discussion of supplier selection methods previously investigated by researchers is done through literature review published in several reputable journal database. 86 journal articles successfully collected and reviewed related methods and approaches used by researchers in memeilih supplier. From the results of this study can be concluded that the method of supplier selection through qualitative and quantitative approach is then subdivided into 4 categories with 18 methods discussed.

Abstract

This article is an improvement of the article Purwaningsih (2015) entitled Analysis of Added Value of Fishery Product of Muncar Port of Banyuwangi. In the Purwaningsih (2015), there is no calculation and analysis to determine the added value. The article only contains the calculation and analysis of recapitulation of the lemuru fish processing cost. Thus, this article is aimed to improve by explainin and exposure the calculation of value added of the lemuru fish processing using the hayami method. From the calculation of added value using the hayami method, the results obtained that the added value of fish canning as much as IDR 10.244.800,-/ton, cold storage of IDR 3.924.000,- /ton,and the processing of flour by IDR 8.030.500,- /ton. Thus the added value highest obtained in canning fish.

Abstract

Community development (Comdev) is company’s obligation and responsibility to the community. Advancing the community towards an independent one and preserving the environment through CSR also contribute towards building a corporate’s reputation. Proper is an award granted by the Ministry of Environment, while PROPER Emas (Gold Proper) is the highest-rank award with a significant impact on the company’s reputation. Community development programs are essential in achieving PROPER Emas. This research selects a community development (comdev) program suitable to the criteria in oil distribution company using the AHP Expert Choice method, so that the corporate obtains recommendations and a framework to be used for the comdev program. A superior program is necessity for the PROPER Emas judgement, and this research recommends community development activities to be featured as the superior program. This study concludes that the suggested top program to be carried out by fuel oil distribution companyis the eco-friendly waste bank as a first priority, and the river bank forest program as the second. This research expects to feed into the corporate’s CSR programs towards achieving gold proper.

Abstract

Currently, waste is an important issue faced by almost all countries, including Indonesia, as it can have social and environmental impacts. Waste management needs coordination between local governments and waste-generating communities. The government must provide means of final waste disposal site. At present, Wonogiri District has five disposal sites located in 5 different sub-districts of Pracimantoro, Baturetno, Ngadirojo, Slogohimo and Purwantoro. Determination of alternative final disposal site in Wonogiri District is needed for more effective and optimum waste handling. Using Technique of Order Preference method by Similiary to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS), it is proposed in this article that the Baturetno site is the best alternative for final disposal site compared to the other four sites. This article also proposes a scheme for the further processing of waste into methane gas that can be utilized by the community.

Abstract

Production process at PT. Showa Indonesia Manufacturing is not always smooth, due to the ignorance of the reliability of the machine. Breakdown can occur at any time and cause uncertainty of the availability of machinery in the production process, causing considerable losses to the company. This study was conducted on a compressor machine used to produce the pressurized air that used to run the production machinery. Based on the research, the highest damage level is on the compressor machine 4, 8, 10, 5, 16, and 6 with total damage of 70.1%. This is due to the complex machine system and the less optimal maintenance system. Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) method is used to analyze the system to identify components that fall within the critical category. The results of the analysis, obtained some critical components which required optimal replacement interval by minimizing downtime. Further planning activities on each critical component is based on FMEA and RCM Decision Worksheet. With the application of RCM method, total downtime decreased by 44.59% from previous preventive actions.
